AUGUST 3, 1877...Black Bart robs his fourth stagecoach (he robbed 28 all together), and gets away with $300 in gold coin, and a check worth $305. He's wearing a flour sack on his head, with two more to cover up his boots. Bart is terrified of horses so he's on foot, and while he's carrying a shotgun he never fires a shot during this robbery - or any of the others. For the first time, he leaves a poem behind at the scene.
